Local Activities there is always lots to keep you occupied around here some as so easy and free some we can organize for you and there is a fee for transport or safari or tuition etc
- find a quiet spot, grab a charpoi [local style rope bed] and read a book under a
tree in the garden.
- take a wander around the Sacred Lake in Pushkar, visit a few of her 444 temples
- shop, shop, shop in the local Bazaar- note to self "I am helping the local
ecconomy"
- take a blockprint workshop
- visit Govindgarh....not far down the road; a lovely non tourist spot to explore,
perhaps take a picnic lunch [we can pack the picnic and sort out transport if necessary]
- Ajmer is famous for her Sufi Shrine, wandering through the labarynth of alleys up
to it is an adventure in itself
- Ajmer also has a rather impressive Jain Temple and a diarama the size of a
basket ball court of the Jain version of the Universe...pretty amazing.
- take a camel safari...we can even organize gypsy dancers and dinner around a
camp fire
- Taragarh, one of the oldest Hill Forts in Asia is also another lovely picnic spot
- join one of special interest week-long workshops with visiting tutors
